MEN'S MINISTRY

The Men’s Ministry [IRON MEN] at Verse by Verse Fellowship embraces Proverbs 27:17, “Iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” IRON MEN delight in growing deep in God’s word, discipleship, fellowship and service. We meet weekly for prayer, Bible study, and fellowship. We also have monthly and quarterly events throughout the year focused on corporate study, worship, and fellowship. Our year culminates in our annual IRON MEN Retreat. Come join your Brothers in Christ, as we seek God’s leading and the opportunity to reflect His love and grace.

Weekly, IRON MEN gather to share a meal, pray, and dig deeper into God’s Word through focused study of the Bible.

Accelerate creates monthly opportunities for men of like interest to gather and strengthen relationships through fellowship and service.

MEN'S MINISTRY DIRECTOR

Jay guides the Men’s Ministry, Iron Men. His journey to Iron Men came through participation in Junior High Youth, Senior High Choir, Bible Study Fellowship as a Discussion Group Leader and many years shepherding a dedicated Adult Bible Fellowship. Jay is married to a wonderful, patient, and supporting wife, enjoys seeing his children and grandchildren grow and mature in their walk with Christ. God has gathered men at VBVF with servants hearts, a sense of humor, and thirst for biblical application to their lives. Walking with the men of VBVF, men who embrace Proverbs 27:17 is a true joy.
