Prayer Walk
The 4th Thursday of every month at 10am we host a prayer walk in San Antonio where believers of all ages join together and pray in a neighborhood highly populated with unreached peoples. Bring your kids, strollers, bikes, skates or just your walking shoes. Join other kingdom-minded friends. We meet behind the Bill Miller BBQ at 9202 Wurzbach Road. Your host is Leesha Shupert.
Annual Meeting
Mark your calendars for Sunday, May 4th for our annual meeting. Immediately following the 11 a.m. service, we'll have a family style meeting where our elders will present the ministry work we've done around the church throughout the year as well as a church financial update.
Good Friday & Easter Sunday
Psalm 22 says, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me, from the words of my groaning?"
Many of you will recognize this as the words Jesus spoke as he was being crucified as recorded in Matthew's Gospel. But Psalm 22 is more than just a foretelling of Messiah's suffering. It's also a prophetic promise of his resurrection and kingship over the whole world. So this Easter week we'll be doing a series going through Psalm 22. Beginning on Friday with a sermon entitled Suffering Messiah and then ending on Sunday with a sermon entitled Sovereign Messiah.
Please join us Friday, April 18th at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 20th at either our 9:00 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. service to worship our Redeemer and King.
These services are
family services, which means that our children will be in the sanctuary with us worshiping together. But this is also a great opportunity to invite your friends and loved ones who maybe haven't heard the gospel before, so that they could hear it for the very first time. I personally can't wait to worship together as a family this Easter week.
